What?? Spring Break is Over?!?!?
Yes, it's true. Spring break is done and over with! It's time to get back to LEARNING! I thought updating the blog might be a good start...so here goes :)
March 31 - Begin chapter 3 - the 1920s - STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE! (pages 62-66)
April 1 - Happy April Fool's Day! - Catching and Missing the Roaring '20s (pages 67-76)
2 - Regionalism (pages 77-78) and A New Government (page 79)
3/4 - Autonomy - Canada begins to become independent of Britain (slow, baby steps...but it's happening) (page 80 to 83)
4 - Essay Writing :-)
Next Week - Let's get depressed by looking at the Depression of the 1930s (chapter 4)
7 - Causes of the Depression (page 90 to 93)
8 - Desperate Years - Suffering (pages 94 to 100)
9 - The Government Responds to the Depression (okay, not really "responds" per se) (pages 101 to 104) AND New Politics (pages 106 to 110)
10 - I am "away" (Grade 7s are visiting so I will be in the building...just not teaching you). The TOC will work with you on the Depression in the rest of the World (pages 114 to 115)
11 - I am "away" (Grade 7s are visiting so I will be in the building...just not teaching you). You will be writing an IN CLASS independent, open book ESSAY on the topic given to you by the TOC. It will be due at the end of the block.
