Ummm...Hello? Is this thing on?

Not sure if anyone is still checking BUT just in case you are....

Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to teach all you girls and guys this semester :-) Summer officially begins NOW! I am looking forward to marking your essays tomorrow (not being sarcastic) because I know that you all did super fantastic!

I hope you learned a lot and I hope you were somewhat inspired to pursue a grade 12 social science - including geography, history, philosophy, and/or law.

Make sure to email me when you receive your provincial marks - I don't get them until September!!!

To those of you that I have taught for multiple years - you know who you are....thank you for helping me grow as a teacher over these last few years. I'm sure our paths will cross again (in the hallways of Matheson) but this was my last official year as your teacher. I'll miss seeing you all so make sure to drop by and visit!

Good Luck in grade 12 - make it your year to have a positive impact on L.A. Matheson!

Information for Monday

Monday is the last day of classes. Your exam is on Tuesday. This leaves little to no time for reviewing and studying - especially if you haven't started yet (but I know you all have....right???)

On Monday you need to come to class just like normal - school is not over. Periods 1 and 3 we will look at essays (planning them out - I have a whole bunch of topics for you to look at).

I still have a grade 8 class in period 2. You are more than welcome to work in my classroom as long as your period 2 teacher is okay with this (she or he must email me to let me know they approve). During that period, you can work on essay writing/planning as well as look at old provincial exams. *If you choose to just "hang out" I will ask you to return to your own classroom. Please do not waste my time, your time, and the time of other students.

If you have not started to study DO IT NOW.

REVIEW PPTs

Review powerpoints have been posted....I know this is what you've all been waiting for!

Just a recommendation - check out my powerpoints from before as well for a more detailed look at topics that we have learned about. *** Chapter 6 might be good to look at since this is the section that I was away for (Cold War) ***

If you see errors or if you have questions please let me know so that we can address any issues!
